In 2005, the UFC was facing serious financial issues and complete potential bankruptcy. As a final Hail Mary to get new eyes on the sport, they threw their hat in the ring during the height of the reality show craze and made The Ultimate Fighter. A show that would pit two teams of young fighters against each other in hopes of winning a 6 figure contract with the UFC. The finale built up to what many call the fight that saved the promotion with Forest Griffin vs Stephan Bonner which remains one of the most intense and high energy fights in the promotions history. Not long after all the way across the ocean in Pride, Rampage Jackson and Wanderlei Silva duke it out for a second of 3 times across 2 different promotions in an absolute clinch fest. You thought the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles block is over? Guess again, bucko. On this episode of About That Action, the Action Jox sit down to discuss the third live action installment to the Ninja Turtles franchise. This film makes the bold (often bad) choice to take the turtles through time to feudal Japan, throwing them right in the middle of a war and a raw deal with some unsavory British folks and if you think I'm kidding, I'm not. Abandoning almost all the previously established Ninja Turtles mutant mania, we see the four rascals in a regular TURTLE out of water story. So do your stretches and gear up for battle with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3!

The nostalgia continues with the 1991 sequel to the cultural smash hit Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with Secret of the Ooze, where we find out more about the mysterious substance that created the turtles in the first place and how a nefarious villain wishes to harness it for his own gain. Despite the poor audio quality of the episode, the fellas from About That Action had a great time watching this much more light hearted take on a pop culture classic IP. So sit down, sharpen your swords, do your flips, and turn on About That Action as we continue the turtle block with TMNT 2: Secret of the Ooze.

The entire city is counting on an unknown group of super mutated reptiles to end the chaos once and for all. Join About That Action as they discuss the millennial nostalgia classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! 

Join the fellas as they sit down for the final film in the train block with Money Train, a Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes venture about two adopted brothers working as transit cops in New York. As things heat up in the big city in the winter of 1995, will these two brothers remain thick as thieves or will the pressures of the job and of life tear them apart? Turn up those headphones and hang with the fellas of About That Action as they riff their way through this buddy cop cult classic.

Unstoppable is number 2 in the train block and what a train movie it is. Denzel and Chris Pine race against the clock to stop a ghost train full of toxic chemicals from crashing into a small town in Pennsylvania in this (loosely) based on a true story high octane classic. Sit down, buckle up, tie off your air brakes, and join the fellas as they discuss Unstoppable from 2010 directed by Tony Scott.

Under Siege 2 is kicking off the Train Block on About That Action as a good ease off the Seagal block. Although Dark Territory really had no business being a sequel at all, it still provides just enough action to make it watchable. If you want to hear all about the movie, Josh's comedy bits, Marsh and Tom's argument, among many other completely irrelevant conversations, tune in turn up and get pumped with About That Action.

We took this time to appreciate the fact that we have been a show for a full year. It has been an absolute blast. Come hang with the boys as they reminisce about the memories they've made and the movies they've watched.  

On Deadly Ground is the final film for the "Block of Seagals" and one hell of a way to close out. In 1994, Steven Seagal was given the reigns for a film in which he starred and directed. This film centers around Forest Taft, an oil fireman who discovers that the oil company he works for is purposefully cutting corners to retain land rights for oil drilling which will lead to an ecological disaster. So what's the answer? Punches, throws, wrist locks, and a whole lotta bullets. Tune in, assume the push up position, and hug your neighbors oak tree because About That Action is covering the environmental action classic On Deadly Ground.
